The idea of participating in the Alyeska Climbathon came while flying over Mount Rainer in WA. A fellow passenger said "The view of that mountain never gets old". I mentioned to that passenger that I had been on top of Rainer with my good friend Steve, and my Daughter, Acacia, and that Acacia told me she loved me at the summit. Besides the "awwws", the reply from my fellow passenger was "Oh, if you like to climb, you should try the Alyeska Climbathon."
And here we are. Yes, Acacia will be with me, and as an added bonus, my Niece Andie (Kevin's Daughter) will be joining us!!
