The Climbathon means so much more to me than just climbing a mountain or raising money. Women’s health is deeply personal to me. After walking through infertility and the loss of four babies, I know what it feels like to have your world turned upside down because of your gynecologic health. Those experiences shaped me and gave me an even deeper belief that every woman deserves to feel seen, heard, believed, and supported—no matter what her journey looks like.

That is a huge part of why I do the work I do and why I put so much of my heart into the Climbathon each year. I climb for the women who have heard the words “you have cancer.” I climb for the survivors who continue to show us what strength looks like, for the families who have walked beside them, and in memory of the women we have lost. And I climb because no woman should ever have to navigate something so life-changing feeling like she is alone.

I’m asking for donations because every dollar raised through the Climbathon helps Let Every Woman Know - Alaska continue educating, advocating for, and supporting Alaskans affected by gynecologic cancers. This event is incredibly close to my heart, and every donation, no matter the amount, is a way of telling these women: we see you, we hear you, and you do not have to climb this mountain alone.
