It’s that time of year again – time to seek donations as I am once again challenging my vertical capability to climb for a cause on Sept. 9 by hiking the Alyeska North Face Trail.

I will hike this 2.2 mile (2000 vertical feet) ski trail with family and friends for Let Every Woman Know – Alaska, a nonprofit organization created specifically for Alaska women (started by my oncologist Dr. Hope) and dedicated to raising awareness, sharing information and saving lives through local education of all Alaskans, and supporting those women like me struggling with gynecologic cancer.
